E-17B is a unplayable monster that was featured in Project Kaiju, Blade's other popular game before being added to Pillar Chase 2. It can be seen held and trapped in Gilgamesh Holding Facility and can be free'd by entering codes in the keypads placed throughout the map.

Appearance

The appearance of E-17B is a grotesque mass of dark, blood-red flesh, textured to resemble raw, exposed muscle and sinew. The surface is uneven, with deep crevices and folds that give it a disturbingly organic and fleshy appearance. The color is a deep, almost purplish-red, suggesting decay or a morbid vitality.

Its head is distinctly humanoid in shape, though severely distorted. It has a small, pointed horn or protrusion on top of its head. Its eyes are sunken, barely visible slits within the decaying flesh. The entire skull seems to be partially collapsed, with the jaw hanging open to reveal a dark, empty cavity. The skull’s skin is thinner, showing glimpses of bone beneath.

E-17B has multiple, spindly limbs. These limbs are extensions of the same fleshy, textured material as its body, but some exhibit bone-like, greyish-white areas that appear to be exposed bone or cartilage underneath the decaying flesh. These bony protrusions are jagged and uneven, giving it a dismembered or decaying look. Some limbs seem to be fused or intertwined with the main body.

E-17B is the only NPC found in this map, and is held in the facility by The Iris Corporation. Once all of the objectives have been completed, E-17B will be freed from its containment, and leave the facility to wreck havoc.

Abilities

• Shapeshifting : Gilgamesh is able to change his body at will, from blade hands, wings and more, he's even capable of transforming into the kaiju he kills and gain its abilities.
• Light Speed : Gilgamesh physically can't teleport, he just goes so fast it looks like he's teleporting.
• Super Strength : Gilgamesh is able to throw blows with enough damage and velocity.
• Blood Projectiles / Blood Beam : When stomping, Gilgamesh sends forward a ball of his own blood that can damage anyone in its way, he can also move his tentacles forward and shoot out a deadly beam of his own blood along that.
• Blood Rain : If in a state of rage/ultimate, Gilgamesh will start agonizing and roar loudly to pour down a rain of acidic blood.
• Life Force Absorption : If Gilgamesh manages to grab someone with his tentacles, he is able to suck their Lifeforces to heal himself up.
• Regeneration : Gilgamesh is a slowly dying corpse that's only kept alive by its regeneration.

Trivia

• E-17B is a exclusive kaiju to The_BladeNinja in Project : Kaiju, The_BladeNinja's other famous game. However, was publicly playable in a younger & weaker form in the 3.0 version of the game.

• E-17B wasn't the first experiment as there was another version of him named E-16B that has probably passed away due to failed experiments.
• E-17B is very heavily inspired by Giygas from the Mother/Earthbound series.
