Gobble Run (previously known as Pac-Man) is a map in Pillar Chase 2, made by Combive. It is an almost 1-1 clone of the map in the original Pac-Man game. It is the map made for, and most associated with the monster WYST .

Appearance

This map's design resembles that of the original Pac-Man. The floor and walls are solid black with blue outlines. The monster spawns in a box in the middle of the map. Large blue walls are found on either side of the map, which can teleport both monsters and players to the other side. Numerous neon yellow pellets are spread all across the map, as well as 4 red Ultra Pellets in the corners. Despite the dark walls, this map is one of the brightest in the game, though the layout might prove troublesome when dealing with certain monsters.

Objectives

Collect Pellets (0/150)

Orbs are spread out in straight paths across the entire map. Running into one removes it and adds to your total.

Collect Ultra Pellets (0/4)

Ultra Pellets are collected similarly to normal Pellets, though are around the corners of the map and appear as large red balls instead. Running into one removes it and adds it to your total, and if damaged, will heal 15 health.

Last Man Standing

During LMS on this map, the outlines of walls on the maps will turn into a rainbow colour while a song that closely resembles the frenzy sound plays. During this both the survivor and the monster get a significant speed boost.

Strategies

Monsters

• Monsters with charge abilities such as MX and Fuwatti can benefit from the long hallways present in this map.
• Due to the map's solid black floor, EXE's Thorny Graves and Inkfell's portals are nearly invisible. These monsters will have a heavy advantage due to this.

Survivors

• This map contains no naturally spawning items, so Ultra Pellets will be your only way to heal (aside from Medkits from the item shop). If you're trying to survive, save them for when you need them.
• The blue walls on either side of the map can be used to confuse the monster and possibly escape from a chase.
• The sheer amount of Pellets in this map can be used to gain coins very quickly. Try to collect as many of them as you can.

Trivia

• This map was never planned to be a Collectathon map. It was always meant to be for the Solo Monster/Double Trouble gamemodes.
  • With Collectathon's deletion, this map will hold similar gameplay for those who liked the gamemode, with the only difference being that the task is optional.
• This map was originally based around Innyume, but was changed overtime to be more based off Pac-Man instead.
• The LMS event on this map is a reference to an animation titled 'Something About Pac-Man' by TerminalMontage on YouTube.
  • The song that plays during LMS on this map is a based on the same song that plays in the same animation.
