How Could I Resist?
This page features solely in-game cosmetics, meaning it won't help you gameplay-wise and is just for looks.

This page is dedicated to only add skins for MX.

Rare Skins []

MX gains a white hat and overalls with a green undershirt and shoes. This resembles Lucas, his victim and co-star from Mario '85, which is really just Luigi's sprite color palette from SMB.

MX's overalls now become dark blue, his shirt now becomes purple, and his boots become brown. This can easily be traced to Waluigi, while the name "Porple" come's from Live Chat with Mario and Luigi at NintendoNYC - December 16, 2016 - Part 6 where Luigi pronounces "Purple" as "Porple" when talking about princess Daisy favorite color.

MX switches to a grey hat and overalls, while his shirt and hat emblem are yellow.

MX gains a pinkish color for his overalls, and a slightly brighter red to his hat, shoes, and undershirt. His emblems also turn blue. This is the color palette of Grand Dad seen in the bootleg game 7 Grand Dad's title screen.

The red of MX's attire is swapped for a vibrant blue. This is a simple nod to Sonic.[1]

MX's overalls and hat emblem become black, while his shirt, shoes and hat are gold.

Epic Skins []

MX swaps to Mr. L from Too Late.exe. His overalls are now a muted blue color, he now has a muted green colored shirt, he also has longer, more slimmer arms. He now has a green cap with a red emblem and a large open mouth. When locked, his shop quote is "It's too late." He also has a slightly different animation, making him bend down a little more.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only skin in the game that is most likely never becoming purchasable again. Possibly because It's Too Late.
    • This may be false because there have been a few times L has appeared in the shop.

MX completely trades places with a fellow Horrorbrew: Kilobyte. His overalls are black with gold buttons on the straps and a red shirt. He also now has gloves, more wrinkled and dark brown shoes, and a thicker fuzzier mustache. He now has a black hat with a japanese Kanji (日, meaning "sun" or "day") emblem on it, as well as black eyes with red pupils.

MX's clothing becomes black, with his hat emblem, teeth and shoelaces becoming multiple neon colors.

MX now has neon green skin, hat, overalls and gloves, with his emblem changing to a black color, with antennas at the top of his head and has extremely blackened teeth. This is a reference to those silly cat images edited to look like aliens.

This skin, in a teaser, had green teeth instead of deep black teeth.

MX Now has a white undershirt with the sleeves of it being rolled up, his overalls are now black, he also lacks his iconic moustache, he also has a different hairstyle and lacks his cap. Some people believed this skin to be a joke from the developers, and was confirmed by Tronus. It is a reference to Dress to Impress.

Legendary Skins []

MX now has grey pants with red stripes, a blue shirt with white stars on it, having a long beard and big nose, bearing a red top hat with a wide blue stripe in the center with white stars on it. His mustache is now white, making him look more like Uncle Sam (not Uncle Samsonite), the symbolic representation of America. Due to this, the old price for him, 4850, may be an inside joke targeted towards the country because of its exorbitant price.

MX now sports an almost destroyed mask, presumably a hockey mask (though it also resembles a rubber mask), he also wears different overalls, his rib-cage is also exposed and he is covered in chains. There is also a machette stuck into his back and chest, and his left hand has been replaced with a hook.

His main appearance seems to take inspiration from Jason Voorhees, specifically his appearance from Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood. The hook and exposed ribcage are also a reference to infamous murderer, Daniel Robitaille, also known as, of course, The Candyman, from the Candyman franchise. The claw hanging from his back of course is a reference to Freddy Krueger, from The Nightmare on Elmstreet franchise. Finally, His overall outfit is a potential reference to Michael Myers from the ever-iconic Halloween franchise.

The concept of the skin itself is a more direct reference to "Slasher Gigan" a Halloween skin from Project Kaiju for the kaiju Gigan, who also had all the previously mentioned references.

MX uses a buttoned up sky blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up, showing MX's arm hair, and the top of it being open, revealing a white t-shirt. His overall's have gold buckles now and a brown belt with metal parts which holds a hammer in a pocket, two different types of wrenches, a rag and a red plunger. His hair and mustache are curly, with his hair being longer now. This skin is a reference to Lou Albano's Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action clips. This skin won 4th place in the first Pillar Chase 2 Community Skin Contest in the Official Discord server. It was designed by Brandman.

When this skin is equipped, MX has a different intro quote, saying "Hey paisanos!" instead of "Innocence doesn't get you FAR!".

MX now wears dark clothes, a black coat and a black hat. His face is now obsecured by black smoke and only a skull can be seen instead of his face. This is a reference to a skin of DATA.MAC, a decently popular Horrorbrew by Formant who appears in Camp Cataclysm, an upcoming game inspired by Pillar Chase 2.

Although being released in the same update as the Black Friday 2024 event, Fading is not a limited skin for the event.[2]

Trivia[]

  • Fading is MX's 3rd Legendary Skin that isn't Limited. Unlike the NDS and Plumber skins, it's the default price for a Legendary skin.

MX becomes a giant robot based of a NES console. His head is similar to a TV with a green face inside it. His legs are similar to controllers connecting to his NES chest. His hands have three fingers which come from large cylindrical arms connected to his chest. Part of his torso is made out of wires.

When this skin is equipped, MX's voice lines are changed to become mechanical robotic sounds without a voice.

This skin won 2nd place in the first Pillar Chase 2 Community Skin Contest in the Official Discord server. It was designed by user Thezm.

This skin is planned to be upgraded from Legendary to Ancient in the upcoming update.

Ancient Skins []

MX now becomes BX, an original Horrorbrew by Bowserson21. BX is a dinosaur creature with a shell on its back with spikes all over it. He now has horns out of his head and a medium sized snout with rows of jagged sharp teeth in it. His skin color now becomes dark green, and his arms have spiked wrist bands on them. His abilities change noises, as when he uses Charging Demise, instead of saying; "COME BACK HERE!" it plays bowser's message sound in Super Mario 64. Though its appearance is similar to Ink Bowser, it has been confirmed to not be him.[3]

MX once again fully switches characters, becoming Mr. Virtual, a fellow Horrorbrew mostly popular from appearing in FNF: Mario's Madness V2. Mr. Virtual has red colors for all his clothes, a wider stomach, extremely elongated, thinner limbs, and bright red overalls with black buttons on them. He also sports really long, pointy hair, his skin is a red color, a red hat with a black accent on it and no emblem, black eyes with neon red pupils, red gloves, a dark red shirt, and pointy elf like dark red shoes. Despite most of his body being shades of red, his buttons on his overalls, the accent on his hat, his long hair, and his eyes (excluding his pupils) are all black. Not only that, but his teeth are also colored like a skeleton and are somewhat realistic and bloody. He has his own voice lines, similar to BX (like humming "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" by Tiny Tim, and his lines for his abilities). This skin also originally changed MX's chase music to the instrumental of Paranoia, Mr. Virtual's song in FNF: Mario's Madness V2, but was later changed due to the request of Mr. Virtual's creator.[4]

Your very existence was a terrible LIE!
This content has been/is planned to be removed from the game for one reason or another, and it may or may not come back in the future.
Reason: This skin is getting removed due to the Virtual skin being recolorable, leaving this skin's addition to be pointless.
MX transforms into the Virtual skin, but everything apart from his hair, teeth, and certain aspects about his outfit becomes yellow.

Rank Skins[]

MX's skin turns slightly tanner. His overalls and hat are now orange-Ish brown, while his shirt underneath is now dark brown. This is rewarded when the player reaches LVL 10 in the levels tab with MX.

This is rewarded when the player reaches Gold in the levels tab with MX.

MX's clothes become reflective, and all parts of his body become shades of blue. His head has been changed massively, become stubbier and bearing a massive, toothy grin. His mustache becomes spikier as well, with his hat becoming smaller and bearing a circular emblem instead. This references MX's original design. His overalls and hat become dark-Ish cyan, with his shirt underneath becoming a very dark blue. His cape is also carried over from the Gold skin, except being sky blue. This is rewarded when the player reaches Diamond in the levels tab with MX.

April Fools []

Upcoming Skins []

THIS DESCRIPTION IS MOSTLY SPECULATION! Please tweak and delete this paragraph accordingly when Luigi is in the shop!
MX switches characters, with you now playing as the version of Luigi in the SMW Creepypasta/ROM Hack "I HATE YOU." Luigi's lack of skin is his most iconic trait, now being a pinkish red, zombified corpse with one small, tiny eyeball hanging loose in his eye socket, and charred, black, frizzled hair, the same going for his mustache. He wears a green hat (minus his L emblem) and possibly blue undershirt, as well as green overalls. His clothes are most likely torn and ripped.

This skin was made by Bowserson21

Scrapped Skins []

What is known is that the skin would've looked like Dr. Eggman but with dark eyes with red pupils as well as a X scar in its belly. This is a parody of Lord X, but with an Eggman form instead of Sonic, created by DeviantArt user 'Abbysek'. This skin also had an entire chase theme made for it.

MX turns into Fallen Wolf, a retake on Brute Boris who is the final boss in Chapter 4: Colossal Wonders in Bendy and the Ink Machine. It was initially going to be an Ancient skin that would release alongside a batch of other Bendy inspired skins for when Inkfell released. But this idea got turned down by Blade and was decided to make him into his own monster instead. However, the idea of him being his own monster didn't get so far.

Outdated Skins []
